Hi, can some intelligent person confirm that when you check in online with EZjet the Spain - UK boarding pass has not got the security insignia just the bar code. On the homeward leg there is a bar code & security insignia (an oblong thing you can't read).
I haven't flown EZ before so reprinted them & they came out the same.
In fact the Spain - UK boarding pass has no bar code on - its just on the main page.
Is this right? I know what airlines are like & I want to go!!!
Thanks in advance

Yes mine are the same I belive it's because the ticket gets scanned when you leave the Uk but don't when you leave Spain.

Is the on line check in with Easyjet applicable just with carry on luggage, as I have just booked with them and it didn't mention it if you are checking in a case?

Yes, only with hand luggage - though if you've already printed your boarding pass you can still then choose to bring a suitcase, but you have to queue to check in with everyone else!

i think the barcode does not always print in Spain. Some of my flights have bar codes and some not. Not been a problem yet but I do always keep my fingers crossed

Ive done some Ryanair flights recently and had the barcode on both portions. From Spain and To Spain. However, I noticed that when going through security in Spain they simply just look at the boarding ticket and let you through. (This is Malaga airport) So maybe Spain doesnt have the facility to scan internet boarding passes yet.
It is extremely easy to get yourself airside in Malaga airport when you shouldnt be!

I used online check in too when I went to the UK recently - no problems at all
I had a suitcase so still had to 'check-in' - but it was much quicker than I remember from previous trips
