Hi am a bit baffled. I posted a thread Death in Spain and had replies on this site. when i opened my e-mails to-day i had the same replies. My question is how have these "Peeps" got my e-mail address as I have never used or put it on Ex-Pats?:

It's an automatic email generated as you have notifications selected at a guess. Check and see whether the email came from BE or from a user - if I'm correct it will be from [email protected]

Yes I keep getting them as well even though I keep unsubscribing. Thanks oldsparkles. I have now sent an email to that address

There has already been a reply from a moderator - in fact it was the first response.

All you need to do is go to your profile and edit options. You can select no email notifications for subscribed threads there

The 'My Profile' can be found in the button bar above, or by clicking the arrow by your username in the top right.

Edit options will then be found on the left

Did you remember to scroll down and click the 'save changes' button?
