DRIVING TESTS
My poor son has just failed his driving test today and we are moving over in less than two weeks time. We need to decide whether to send him back for another test but theres no test until January or is it possible for him to have lesson in Spain and take his test out there. He does not speak Spanish

Re: DRIVING TESTS
Maybe he should try the on line test at the DGT web site.

But we doubt if the test can be taken in English.

Re: DRIVING TESTS
Spanish driving test is totally in Spanish, and remember that you can only drive as a learner in Spain in an official driving school car with a driving school instructor. Apparently he will need a very good knowledge of Spanish to take and pass the test.

Re: DRIVING TESTS
Not strictly true!! In Malaga Province some driving schools take pupils who speak no Spanish and conduct the test and its bi parts in English. Telephone around and you will find that a a lot of driving schools will assist in any examination and can act as interpreters, so language is not a neccessary problem.

Re: DRIVING TESTS
Hi ,just wanted to say my son failed twice his test in the uk..we have been living here for 3 years, but did not want him to learn to drive the SPANISH way. He passed last month on his 3rd attempt. We were told that they are really tough on young men ..so tell him not to be downhearted, they are just really fussy. If you find somewhere quiet whn you arrive here, just take him and practice tree point turns and reversing round corners...it will help. I wish him good luck !!
