Re: Driving illegal car
The "van" was parked outside our gates today when I heard a loud car beep.Looking out of the window there I saw the guardia looking very interested in it.
We have given them the info we have. They have gone away to do some checks and will be back later if something is wrong!!!!!!!
Nice men though for the guardia.

Re: Driving illegal car
The van was lent to us as a courtesy car by the mechanic doing the work.We checked him out beforehand and he has been trading here for a few years now and thought he seemed above board.
Evidently not.
Saw the same guardia blokes in town not long ago and asked them if they knew anything yet and they dont but said theyd be in touch when they do.
So we wait.

Re: Driving illegal car
I am sure i read somewhere that if a UK car is not being driven on a holiday trip, then only the registered owner is allowed to drive during the time it is allowed in the country until it needs to be changed to Spanish reg.
