Not at all... Europe is much bigger now and Spain sits about in the middle - with less road deaths in 2005 per head than Belgium would you believe.
I was told some years ago that if a road accident victim in Spain arrives at a hospital alive and subsequently dies it is not classed as a road death. True or not I do not know. |
