Re: Driving age

The legal driving age in Spain is 18:)
You can only be taught to drive by a professional instructor:)
You will have to pay for 3 tests at once, which in practice means 2 x theory, and 1 x practical. Tests are available in English in the major immigrant areas.:)

Apparently they are taught to go around the roundabout in the outside lane, which explains a lot!

Lessons here are not even conducted on a one to one basis. There is usually a car full of learners.

My son who has just turned 17 is going back to the UK to take an intensive course so that as soon as he turns 18, he will be able to drive the car which he (mistakenly) thinks will appear on the drive!

mine (in spain) were on a one to one basis.
and during the exam the instructor was with me, in the front, and the examiner sat on the back.
