Default Door screens/curtains

Hi, we have been looking around for the chain curtains/fly screens for our apartment which we have seen on many other apartments. The hardware shop in town dies them made to measure for about 100 euros which we thought was pretty expensive. Does anybody know anywhere they can be purchase other than the Chinese Shop, which are cheap and plastic. Ideally we are looking at at least 1.2m wide and 2.1m deep?

Hi UB

We had ours made to measure from an excellent company that would cost much more than the numbers you are talking about... sorry

There is another local company Josado that is also recommended on this forum.

If you scan through this thread you will see information

Good luck!

I think you will find that UB is talking about the ones that you hang in your door way similar to cantina curtains.

My hair dresser has some really good quality, heavy ones. I will ask her where she got them. Bryony

They do still have them at Leroy Merlin; i was looking at them a couple of months ago.
We bought over some made of bamboo from a website called Coopers of Stortford for £13 but they might not be big enough as they are 90 cms x 200 cms.
