dodgy High Profile Agent letting out returning ex-pats homes that are for sale
Saw this, I can imagine it, easy money I suppose for the agent, would you be furious if you found this happened to you ?

Yes, I would. There have always been these kind of scams around though, years ago I used to hear plenty of tales about people's holiday homes being let out to holidaymakers without their knowledge, or people's relatives being allowed to stay in them free of charge (but running up utility bills) by people the owners were paying to act as keyholders.

I reported on this a couple of years ago.
An agent here was 'trying to sell' a property but was in fact living in it and then renting it out. All the while the bills (elec, gas, water etc.) are not getting paid!

Yes always happened. Some friends arrived on a late flight to find strangers sleeping In their villa
