Disrespectful and Rude Woman
Just come back from visiting some friends for lunch and a walk around urb La Herrada
A woman parks her car right on pedestrian crossing as we were approaching the junction, a comment was made between us along the lines of "that she wouldn't park on a crossing in the UK so why do it in Spain" (there were plenty of spaces to park) she overheard us and in front of her 2 young daughters she turned and shouted very aggressively "what the f*****g hell has it got to do with you" and walked into her house
Not a nice person

The world is full of people who should be on Jeremy Kyle. Did you think that English yobbos are only found in England ?

I always assume that people are oafs until they prove the opposite.

The problem is that that is normal parking for Spanish people, they will park on corners, pedestrian crossings, across dropped kerbs thereby making it almost impossible for people with prams or wheelchairs to cross the road.

So how would you define a clear English accent, an accent without dialect ?
......in which case it could be Scotsman speaking perfect English.

Tape, pies, mist, broth, salmon, beef, egg, bonnet, corner, pancakes -all scotch. It simply means from or of Scotland. I see no reason why the people should qualify for a different adjective.
Anyway it was scot47 who assumed the woman was English and that was before any accent was mentioned.
I would like to know why.
