Hi could anyone give me a rough idea how much a basic dishwasher would cost me in Spain?

I'd say you could have mine but I'd miss her curries, she does make a good Korma.

We've done it for the last 3 years. Any large electrical is always worth buying in the UK and taking over. We have a Picasso so there is loads of room for other stuff as well. We leave the rear seats at home, and then it has the room of a small van.

Definitely worth buying in the UK.

Do you really believe that?
Why should "white goods" most of which are made in Europe or the far east be cheaper in the UK than Spain?
Is there some hidden reason why TVs and other electronics, all made in China or Korea are magically cheaper in the UK? I think not.
The Spanish clearly have less disposable income that the Brits so why aren't they buying everything from from Amazon UK with free delivery to Spain?
So a cheap dishwasher appears in Currys at a low price - do you really think that that never happens in Spain?
It amazes me that some people go to all the trouble of bringing out items from the UK (with all the warranty problems that it can create) when goods are just as cheap in Spain if you can be bothered to get up and look for them.
Maybe it's because they can't be bothered to shop around or use the many Spanish price comparison websites that exist.
