Re: Disabled parking
I think the short answer is no however if they are driving a hire car and they display the card in a prominent position and they parked in a disabled bay and payed the parking fee then I'm certain no action would be taken. There is always thr language problem in our little corner of Andalucia few if any of the wardens speak or read English so they may not recognise the badge.

Blue Badge Scheme - A guide for badge holders | nidirect
Can the Blue Badge be used abroad?
Badge holders can take advantage of the parking concessions available to people with severe walking disabilities whenever they are in a member country of the European Union.
Some other countries outside the European Union allow disabled visitors to take advantage of parking concessions provided for their own citizens by displaying the Blue Badge.
If you are planning to visit a country outside the European Union you should check with the appropriate authorities in that country to find out whether parking concessions available to their own nationals with disabilities are available to you.

Re: Disabled parking
They can use their badge and they do not have to pay for the parking, whether they park on a disable space or not'

Re: Disabled parking
Sorry but that is not correct; Yes the badge is recognised BUT there are car parks where you still have to pay even when displaying the badge

Re: Disabled parking
We are in Ayamonte, and here people with disabled badges do NOT pay, except maybe in one parking which is private. Same thing in Huelva capital and all the local places where the parkings are run by Dornier ( Isla Cristina, Lepe,...)
