Digital Certificates?

Digital Certificates?
I just renewed our digital certificates online. The new ones are working fine. Is it now safe to delete references to the old certs even though they have a couple of weeks still to run?

I did not think you can have two certificates covering the same person on the same device. Would there not be some sort of confusion in the electronical communication? Two certificates covering different names is ok

Thanks for the link. Interestingly they do still both work on this browser. My query was really about removing the old one in advance of its expiry date. In the past I've had two versions of software on a PC and uninstalling the older version has disabled the newer version because there were files being used by both which were deleted in the uninstallation. I just don't want to mess up the new one by clumsily deleting the old one.
