Does Spain have the equivalent of DFS or SCS etc., i.e. a discount furniture superstore chain?
If so what are they called? and web site?

DFS is a discount Furniture store, and it's Spanish, DFS Discount Furniture Spain.
Not sure if they do sell in Spain, but would have thought so.

Googling 'Discount Furniture, Spain' brought up a whole load, something you should/could do before asking others to do it for you,

PS: DFS originally called Direct Furniture Supplies is and always has been a British company currently owned by Advent International private equity company.

I think DFS are in Spain but perhaps only on the Med Coast. There is a town that makes furniture near El Rocio which is supposed to have good prices. I once fancied a new Italian suite from Costco UK and when I googled the name the Spanish distributor was based there. If you look at google earth the streets seem full of furniture factories.

Thanks John. I was looking for a particular style (L shaped, leather + 2 electric recliners). I have googled and visited a few furniture places (including that big one on the way into Cartaya) but the only place I have seen it is in DFS or SCS in the UK (can't remember which) which is where I got the notion in the first place. Don't want the cost of shipping it over. Will try some more - no rush at the moment I hadn't seen the El Rocio one.
