My husband worked in the computer industry in England and he certainly agrees with you about NOD32

When I ran a system scan with the AVG antispyware it showed three Trojan horses in the vault

I had awful things happening the bloody puter was doing what it liked , so now I have come to thinking that I will put Nod on here also, could I just disable Norton and then download Nod ,I may has well take advantage of the free days I have left with Norton. If I download Nod do I need anything else,I shall also put Zone-alarm back on .I have windows defender running also and run a quick scan daily.I have also come to the conclusion that outlook is a waste of space.
Oh I do tend to look in the Lab now and again,I used to be a regular visitor when I first got my lappy a few months ago, thanks for this information here

You'll have to uninstall Norton totally first jandy. You'd be well advised to download the Norton removal tool from their site first.
Use NOD in conjunction with ZA, and as you're using Defender as well you should be fine.

Never enters my mind to go into the lab as I have no idea what I am doing at the best of times. This seems like decent info that could help many people, I have no idea what it is telling me because I can't be bothered to read pass the first paragraph but I will make sure OH does as he is the puter person in this casa. Thanks Pete, I know you will take no notice of what Matt says.

when I first got the laptop a few months ago it came with it pre-installed for the 60 days anyway I was totally green then and was not sure what to do, so I ended up installing the Norton 360 and what a load of trouble that caused me so I had to remove it .My O/H just suggested that I do a re-install every few weeks and get the Norton for 60 days each time

he's having a laugh I think
