Torremolinos is an absolute dive. Everything is ugly there, from the buildings to the people, seriously!

The only good thing is the paseo martimo, although most the chiringuitos are rubbsh there too

It's also a gay centre, so unless that was the reason for the divorce then that may not appeal

Also, be aware, flights are not cheap all year around, especially not into the London aiports. In August, at Xmas or Easter, sometimes tickets even on Easyjet are £350 or more return. You can only get very cheap flights at unsociable hours e.g. 1am on a Tuesday. if you are flying on weekends (like I used to a lot) then tickets will normally be £200-£300
