Hi All
I am moving to Spain to live on Sept 7th and I will be setting up a window cleaning company using my ladderless waterfed poles (which I have done in the uk for nearly a decade now)
I wish to have my current leaflets and brouchers translated from English to spanish. Although i am currently learning spainish with a cd I am not good enough to make a decent transaltion can anybody reccomend anyone for me?
It is roughly 2 pages of A4 print but I want it to read correct

Whatever you do don´t use Babelfish!!! The translations are hilarious.

When you say two sheets of A4, I take it they are just bullet points rather than a long essay?

I don´t mind doing it for you - but within reason....no more than say 150 words.

In the nearly four years I've been in Spain, I don't think I've ever seen a window cleaner. Mind you with so many of the windows having bars it would be a difficult job cleaning them the traditional way.

To send a PM, you click on the person's user name, and then various options will appear.

Although I believe most householders clean their own windows, I'm sure your method will be of interest to hotels and such.

I know the bars infront of the windows would make it hard for a traditional window cleaner to clean them.
Although I started as a traditional window cleaning I soon became involved in the water fed pole method using 100% de ionised water which dries completly clear. I am able to clean windows behine bars from the floor upto nearly 60 ft.

Another thing to remember is if you are going to advertise in Spanish and I assume include a phone number, make sure the person who answers the enquires can speak Spanish. ;-)

Just a thought.....
if the windows have bars in front, do they not open inwards? This would make them easier to clean (i.e. from inside the flat/house)than conventionally opening outward windows?

Usually sliding windows, most of mine I can lift out to clean, but there are some on the terrace over 6' high and about 3' wide that are just too heavy, bars only for about 3' but still cause problems.

All our windows (regardless of rejas) open inwards.

They're an absolute joy when it comes to cleaning!! An excellent idea

Up here they do not have bars on the windows. The locals never have them open when it is hot, or so it seems!

It doesn't really matter if the windows open inwards from my experience some people will require and others wont.
I will be mainly concentrating on commercial work, shop fronts, cleaning signages, cladding, etc (with a bit of luck)

I could do it for you. I charge 30 euros per hour - 2 pages of A4 should be about 2 hours.
