We will be driving our car to the UK in June next year and then will remain there for six months before returning to Spain.
Our car has been matriculated onto Spanish plates, but we would like to re-register it onto UK plates while we are in the UK as it will make it easier to sell there when we decide to sell it.
My question is, can we go to Trafico in say, May, and arrange for the car to be de-registered from say, the end of June, (when we will be in the UK and hopefully have re-registered it onto UK plates)?

Just to clarify, this is a previously British registered car which has been matriculated onto Spanish plates. It is right-hand drive, we have the UK headlights and the speedometer is in miles.
We just want to put it back onto UK plates but were enquiring about the logistics of de-registering it at the Spanish end.
I hope someone can help.

Thanks for your reply.
That may seem the easiest option but here in the sticks it is a matter of finding a good gestor. The one who matriculated it onto Spanish plates took eight months!
Oh well, will ask around.
Thanks again.
