"The UK vaccines regulator is reportedly considering advising against young people, at least those under 30-years-old, taking the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is said to be reviewing its guidance amid concerns the risk of extremely rare blood clots could be marginally higher among younger people."

30 blood clots (which may have occurred anyway) in a couple of million people so I don't understand the hesitation.

Re: Covid 19 Vaccine...
Any drug or vaccine has risk of side affects. It is disappointing that some ..... will use this as an excuse to avoid taking the vaccine.
I read a post stating anyone forcing her kids to be vaccinated should be hung. No doubt she has refused MMR vaccine for her kids.

Re: Covid 19 Vaccine...
England is really moving ahead so fast.
Now, they are giving everyone two home test kits per week. The devolved administrations still making their minds up about it, but I guess they will follow suit.
UK did get off to a bit of a shaky start with Covid.
But in recent times I must say in general the UK has really led the way with this Covid situation!
I am pro EU but the EU has really screwed up here, big time!

Presumably that was the AZ vaccine as you are waiting so long for the second dose. I had my first dose (Pfizer) and the next dose is 3 weeks later.
