Hope you had fun at Salsa, Eve - I really must take up an activity to keep me fit!

19 days to go. I have sorted out water, gas, electricity, and a few other things today. Need to get the council tax stopped because our property will be empty.

Our viewing today was cancelled 20 mins before they were due. Got another booked for Saturday but I'll believe it when they actually arrive.
I'm going to start on the cupboards and drawers tonight in between all of the paperwork I've got to finish for my job:thumbdown:

know how you feel, another viewing turned up today, but decided she couldn't manage getting in and out of drive, didn't even look at the house! honestly!! another waste of an afternoon tidying!

Hope you've checked your passport and it isn't due for renewal if it is then get it done as it will cost 183 euros (or thereabouts) to renew in Spain.

Hi, Thanks for the advice. Ours run out in 2014. Just checked the kids and they run out in 2009 so I'd better check what happens then. My daughter will be an adult then so she will get a 10 year passport.

What a pain - putting it politely. We had a couple last week and he had a huge truck which wouldn't fit anywhere around here. The worse thing was his mate is renting a house along the road so he knew there is no parking for such a big vehicle. Bloody timewasters!

It sounds like you're managing to cross a lot of jobs off your "To Do" list, so you're definitely going in the right direction!

Just think, it won't be long before you can put your feet up and enjoy the sunshine :thumbup:
When do you start your job? I guess in September?

Thanks Sam. :) I can't wait to get there and relax for a couple of weeks before facing all the paperwork that end. I do start work in September and I'm hoping that some of the staff are friendly enough to help me through the Spanish bureaucracy.

We have sold some of our furniture today and it's being collected this week so we will be living out of suitcases. I didn't get around to sorting out any cupboards last night so I've got a bottle of wine to keep me company tonight when I get started.
