Default Costa Esuri street lighting

Not having been out to Esuri for quite a few weeks we wonder whether we are up to date with new street lighting developments. Last night on Lomas the street lights appeared to be sensor-controlled. Is this new or is there a fault? The lights were on and off, for very short spells, throughout the night.
It was just like being near a lighthouse! Having said that we live in a UK village with no street lighting at all - perhaps we are hyper-sensitive. Would appreciate an update. Thanks.

We have been fascinated watching the lights flicker on and off. This is clearly a fault in some of the lights. The Main Street lights seem to be fine and constant. It is the subsidiary lighting within the barriers that has the problem. This is a problem to be solved by the intercommunity or community depending on just where the faulty lights are situated. One for the Presidents me thinks!
