Costa Esuri Ayamonte Spain
We are considering purchasing one of the duplex apartments on this complex, but would like an idea of the monthly/yearly condo fees and any other costs that are associated with the properties (excluding utilities).
Also, if anyone has any comments about whether they are a good investment at the moment. They appear pretty good value compared with other areas of Spain.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Welcome to the Forum Mandyabmad.
You need to be more specific about where on Esuri the duplex is located, as costs vary between Communities, i.e Vista Esuri, Las Encinas, Lomas etc. As to whether it is a good investment, that depends on the price you pay, and how you measure it i.e. financially or life benefit. We bought off plan in 2005, and undoubtedly would not get our money back if we sold now, but it has repaid us many times over in the enjoyment and quality of life we have enjoyed during our many visits there.
It is very different to the Mediterranean areas of Spain, nowhere near as Commercial, which to us is an advantage. The proximity to Portugal is an advantage, to experience both Countries. There is a good mix of Nationalities on Esuri, and it is an advantage to be a golfer if you wish to become immersed in the Community
if you haven't already done so, I would recommend you hire an Apartment on Esuri for a couple of weeks to experience for yourself the lifestyle, before making your decision.
