Default Completing Tax Return Forms in Spain

Can anyone tell me if completing a tax return form in Spain, as a non resident is complicated? As a competent person, who has completed a UK tax return, could I do it or should I appoint a professional?

Many thanks for any advice you can offer.

Can you speak spanish? Will you be able to understand the form?

Taxes in general tend to be more complicated in spain than the UK. Most Spanish people have a "gestor" to do their taxes and other administrative tasks for them. So if the spanish do, there´s no shame in you having one!

I pay 30 euros a month for my gestor, but I know that some (especially the english speaking ones) can charge up to about 100 euros per month. (Even more if you are a company.)

The non-resident 214 form is easy to complete but if you are talking about declaring actual rental income as a non-resident it is rather more complicated and needs to be done on a monthly basis.
