Completing Tax Return Forms in Spain
Can anyone tell me if completing a tax return form in Spain, as a non resident is complicated? As a competent person, who has completed a UK tax return, could I do it or should I appoint a professional?
Many thanks for any advice you can offer. |

Many thanks for any advice you can offer. Taxes in general tend to be more complicated in spain than the UK. Most Spanish people have a "gestor" to do their taxes and other administrative tasks for them. So if the spanish do, thereĀ“s no shame in you having one! I pay 30 euros a month for my gestor, but I know that some (especially the english speaking ones) can charge up to about 100 euros per month. (Even more if you are a company.) |

The non-resident 214 form is easy to complete but if you are talking about declaring actual rental income as a non-resident it is rather more complicated and needs to be done on a monthly basis.
