The extra benefits I get are the "additional state pension " (SERPS) and the GRB (graduated retirement benefit).
Last year that came to £7900 or just under €10k at the current exchange rate.
Some people get more than that. I also get some contracted out payments which bring the figure up to €12000.
By the way, all the figures that Steve quoted are in Euros, not GBP.

I don't think there are many expats in Spain who are only on the very basic pension payments.
