Default Cigarettes In Spain

I just wondered how much they cost these days, I stopped smoking 4 years ago this April, and as I recall I last paid circa €4.40 per pack for L&B's. I never go into a tabacos these days so haven't a clue how much they cost.

Actually, many of the (dozens of) people I know who used to bring cigs out with them have now stopped. It ain't worth the hassle any more.

Si have read my posts about Alcaidesa Marina and the mole being built in Gib Waters?

I'm thinking of applying to the Gib government to build a shop with a tobacco license on that mole

Its correct or not that if you go on a cruise ship you can chance your arm with as many as you want ?

Actually I think I may have a solution to the Gibralter issue. Identify a commodity/product from Spain (eg paella) which is popular in Gib. Then put up the prices in Gib so high that is attractive to smugglers. Then the Gibraltarians smuggling 'paellas' will balance, out the Spanish smuggling 'snuff' Everybody's happy.
I leave the details to others - I'm a concepts person!

Mike when the frontier is operating normally you would be amazed at the amount of stuff that people bring in to Gib.

However many businesses in La Linea and nearby are going bust due to the lack of customers, but does the Spanish government care, not one iota.
Smuggling in this area is definitely a two way business.
