Never see them in any of the shops around here. If you have any English shops around you I would have thought that they would have sold them.

We were there today. Most of the crackers have gone but for a few stray packs which cost 10euros and 8.50 euros. We bought one of the 8.50 but there arent many left.......in fact there was lots of stuff which wasnt there.Benissa is bigger so maybe try there cos they do have more selection. We get to iceland about 4 times a year but left it a bit late this time.No fondant icing either.

I always think of you when we come down and would love to meet up but we are always in so much of a hurry to get everything done there never seems to be time.

when she drags herself out of her pit I'll get the recipe off her - I know it involves marsmallows though.......................
has Fred started that recipe thread yet??

With their love of noise and especially bangs I am surprised that Christmas crackers are not part of the jollities in Spain.

That'd be a great idea - I love writing recipes and illustrating them with my own photos
We have Christmas lunch with the neighbours most years - normally a chivo that they kill in the morning & cook over an open fire
- we took crackers round one year and they were distinctly underwhelmed!
