Yes, probably. We have a copy of that, which we had to obtain from the Town Hall, before registering for the basura, eventhough we had an old bill from the previous owner.

Apparently big day tomorrow, a decree will be ratified outlining how 15000 houses will be legalised , this to be actioned by new department to start actions early next year , does say not all houses will be legalisable and that people affected can get help with 50% of costs but there will be further penalties for anyone not paying on time , does really look like we will see real action over the next two years to sort the current planning mess .

Do you know whether or not this has been ratified by the Junta, or is it the Ayuntamiento taking things into their own hands again?

I have just seen a big entry in Diario de Cadiz concerning this, particularly affecting Rana Verde.

As previously reported a ratified system to legalize 15000 houses has been laid down and will start early next year , houses will be legalized and supplied with electric , water and sewage system , the cost will be subsidised but owners will have to pay not in advance thou , there is no mention of age descrimination re houses , Rana Verde will be the first area to be legalised , this reported will affect 1800 houses . Chiclana will be legalized zone by zone , costs will vary dependent on area and how complicated it may be for that zone . Those in Rana Verde will soon be able to tell us all about how it works !
