Chat rooms totally confuse me as I lose track of who is talking to who and it often gets out of sequence.

I have been in a few times: was confused when someone asked about ASL. 
Difficult to chat to someone when you know nothing about them as the conversation is too superficial - more interesting if they off a forum and you "know" them.
