as you may know I live on an urbanisation with a communal pool & garden
at the moment there are a few holidaymakers here, but my kids are the only ones
I just got them out of the pool for arguing as they were disturbing everyone else
they're still arguing as they go upstairs to get dressed
dh just yelled up the stairs for them to stop arguing like cat & dog
they're still arguing.................
about who is the cat & who is the dog!!!

This is a easy peasy question
The Cat is the one who goes to the loo outside and buries it discreetly and then just curls up in the shade and sleeps ..
The dog is the one who smells, then leaves piles of poo in the garden ,even on a patio as they arent fussed , then barks and licks your face after licking its private parts , followed by jumping up and down just when you have put your best Tank Top and Cords on
Then just when you want to sit down and watch a classic movie like " Lassie gets hanged by a Handglider (in colour) " You can bet that it wants to go for a walk !
So watch the kids carefully see which one suits either tell tale signs
and then you will know who is what .Hope this helps

The cat is always the strong one, as dogs often give in to them if challenged, they may chase them, but once they stand their ground the dog backs off. They are also independent, you don't own them, they chose you. Wanderers and free roamers, often stopping at various homes for their daily snacks before they move off to the next one.
The dog is loyal and stands by you however you treat them, a home body often who enjoys being around you. But they also like their own space to be with their own thoughts.
Well that's been my pets anyway. So which one of your kids do you think is the dog or cat. Who is scratching the most. Maybe they are both cats.

Oh no Lynnxa......two arguing girls.....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggh.
I bet it's great when you can just sit back and watch tho......see their characters.
I've got a boy and a girl.....the boy I have recently described as a dog...loyal, loveable etc ( much to his disapproval..earwigging at 4 yrs old - can u believe it!!!!).... Whereas Issy my daughter, she is definitely a cat....needs us for cuddles only when she feels like it, independent, sneaky, sits ..plays, watches then ........PONCES .....
Why are males and females soooooo different...the differences are obvious from an early start...DOH !!! Not those differences, their characteristics etc....

I can quite happily let them get on with it...hubby can't though
you'd think he'd know better - he grew up with 6 sisters!

Or in the case of my very old pussy, goes to the loo and buries it discreetly then comes and sits on your lap and has a quick wiggle then jumps off and curls up in the shade and sleeps..........
is what happens when you then look down on to your white trousers and see the skid mark left behind:curse: is what you do as you go to the bedroom to change
is the look on your face as you throw the damn things in the washing machine and
is what you do as you walk pass the old bugger a sleep under the BBQ.

My ex, used to worry so much about ours arguing, he was so upset once that he sat them down and was nearly in tear as he told them that we would not be alive for ever and that when we were gone there would only be the two of them, that there would be no other close blood relative to be there for them. I don't think he even managed to get the words out of his mouth before they were at it again, I told him to not waste his breath on them. It did and still does upset me to think that my two daughters were not friends as they grew up, but now one is 31 and the other is 28 and at long last they are beginning to share in each others lives and that does make me thankful for small mercy's. I think my younger one is a dog, as I'm always saying to her "you are like a dog with a bone, you never let go".
