It is said that 60-80% of their goods are sourced from China and then rebranded.Very poor quality.

Have you ever been in a Carrefour? If you had you would know that you are have written a load of tosh, if you haven't then where did you get your libellous rumour from?

I can't see where the originator of this thread has her property so in case it is not on the coast - we live inland in the northern part of the Granada Province so our nearest Carrefour branches are in Granada city itself (one and a half hours drive away). There are two supermarkets there and one is much larger than the other. We have never had any problems with the staff or the products. Whenever we take a trip to Granada I always go into one of the Carrefour shops. I also visit the El Corte Ingles Hypermarket in Granada. When we initially moved here we preferred the E.C.I. shops in Alicante but are now used to the Granada one. Only problem we found with E.C.I. is that a lot of their clothes are "label" makes so can be expensive.

That's probably true apart from food. No different to other superstores whether Spain or uk.
