Another thought is whether there is a way of advertising this amongst the Brits in your area. If someone has been widowed and cannot bear the idea of leaving Spain but also are afraid of living alone, someone who is now separated from the partner that they came here with, someone who wants to separate but cannot due to finances. Sometimes it is not that these people have thought of the option of moving in with another family but that your advert might provide them with the idea of how to sort out their own lives.
