Car re-registration
Hi
Sorry to have a question for my first post but time is tight.
We arrive in Spain on Monday the 20th and will be bring a car with us.
We would want to get the car registered onto Spanish plates but have just noticed a potential problem. The car in question is a Lexus GS300
I have read that to pass a Spanish ITV everything on the car must conform to what is on the ficha tecnica or be original fitment.
The car we are bringing has 17" wheels but original fitment is 16"
Does anyone have experience with this and would it be a fail.
Thanks
Dave

I'm sure you are right Dave - in this heat they probably just count the wheels!

Hola
Actually they check the tyre rating for speed / weight - so they should notice the size is wrong - but I have known them be so fixated on the rating, they have forgotten to check other things. They are only human after all
