Smile Car Insurance Help?

This is a bit complicated so patience please We bought our daughter a car (in Spain) and it is sitting in the garage until she passes her driving test I know I know a cockeyed way of doing things, but its done. Thing is we are going over there in June, and we would like to use the car when we go over for our holiday. instead of hiring one. Obviously our daughter cannot insure the car until she passes her test (fingers crossed:)

Does anyone know the best way of getting insurance please?

There is a link in the RHD cars in Spain thread, which will take you through to an expat insurance company. They probably do holiday insurance.

Thank you for the reply savateur, but the car is a LHD with Spanish plates.
Any other suggestions please

Yes I know it is ! However, the company alluded to, is a company set up to help expats, who, by definition, live in Spain, amongst other countries, ergo, they drive left hand, Spanish plated car's in the main !

Try www.lineadirecta.com or phone them on 902 325 325.

It's the same company as Direct Line in the UK.

They speak English and their policies are in English.

If you are unfortunate to have to claim, they are the best company I have used.

Is bfg69bug the name on your policy?

If so it will really freak out the Guardia.
