Default Car Hire

Hope someone can help.We are off to U.K. soon and are trying to hire a car. Joke---- all of them need us to pay by credit card and we do not have one. Does anyone know if an company allows us pay with a Visa Debit card or cash on arrival? Here's hoping Thanks

I would imagine the large companies all require Credit Cards but if you say where you are going someone may know a local company that is more flexible or do accept debit cards

you want to hire a car in the UK? http://www.carhire3000.ie/Home.do?af...9310577892&ws=

they accept debit cards & my OH has used them at incredibly good rates

he did once have a problem at Luton, the car co.didn't want to accept his electron card for the deposit, but he told them to put it through as a visa debit card & their system accepted it

If two of you want to use it I would recommend Saga who hire through Hertz, they give a second driver FREE. Also their rates are better than all these comparison site companies.

All looks very nice

not very often you get lucky and have a brand BMW 1 series for a hire car as a young 23 years girl,

this was mine last year
it was driven brand new from Central London and North West London where I collected it from HBC car rental, and took it back 3500k later I was goggling for a great car rental reviews then I found this hbcrentals(dot)co(dot)uk.
Ford explorer 5.0 V8
over the whole time i had it, the computer said it returned 38mpg Awesome!!!!! Thanks to HBC car rental for their complete service package and made my trip enjoyable. Appalling customer service from HBC car hire. Cheers all.

fly into Stansted quite regularly, tried tots of different companies but have found Hertz cheapest and most officiant, also take debit card. If booking via Ryanair do try to book without the link, as will come up cheaper !!
