Car breakers in Spain

Does anyone know of any car breakers in Spain? I'm looking for a part for a 2004 Range Rover.

There are several near me, but I am nowhere near Madrid.

Not a problem as long as they can take payment over the phone & deliver, just need a coolant expansion tank.

There is one in Ontinyent - someone else used it (via the forum) last year I seem to recall.

The best one in Madrid we have found is Desguaces La Torre on the road to Toledo.

That's not bad TBH, it's €42 plus, tax plus postage from UK which is €75. For what it it I didn't mind second hand but worth buying new at that price.....many thanks Rotor.

Madridboy,

Try this garage, I have a 1996 P-38 and over the years he has been most helpful, the guy to talk to is Ian, he often breaks Range Rovers.

Re: Car breakers in Spain

ok, one more question for the experts.
I replaced the expansion tank and with the heater open full topped up the fluids. When I was happy that the level was correct I started the engine then replaced the expansion cap. I then closed the heating and a minute later the car started to spurt out coolant from what I guess is a relief valve on the expansion tank. Is this because I didn't give the car chance to expell any air in the system or is it something else? I've bought some system flush to clean everything out and was going to drain the system, flush it then replace the coolant but wanted opinions on if there is something else wrong or just that there was an air lock in the system.

Maybe has air in the system or worse case head gasket gone, you should not need to flush a 2004 car unless it has been very poorly maintained or abused, take it to a competent mechanic as you it will be much cheaper than cooking the engine which is the direction you seem to be heading for.
