CAN ANYONE HELP.....?

I have been trying to claim compensation since february from Spanish airline AIRCOMET who threw me off a flight which they had overbooked. The whole thing was handled really badly at the time, but they issued me with a coupon for compensation. I was told to email the details to their company, along with passport number, copy of ticket etc when I got back to the UK, which did, and which they ignored. After several unanswered emails I was eventually acknowledged and asked to send all my original documents to them, along with some bank details. This I also did.....and this was also ignored! After many MANY further emails and phone calls I am no better off!! Does anyone know of any trading standards enforcement bodies in Spain who I can contact?? Much appreciated

as per the other thread -

Are you aware that it is normal practice for ALL airlines to overbook seats? Any compensation is normally minimal anyway - is it worth the heartache?

Maybe it's too late now?

Reading this bit about Air Comet you may have some trouble getting anything out of them

I presume OP gat their money back? It may cost a bit more but you have some redress when you pay by credit card.
