Default Camping at El Chorro?

We are thinking of going to El Chorro (Alora) next week to camp for a few days. I see there is a site Camping El Chorro. Has anyone stayed there? Would you recommend it? Are there better alternatives nearby? Needs to be dog friendly.

Hi Brian... El Chorro is just up the road from us, we have been in the bar there but we have never stayed there at the campsite.
It does seem to be a popular place all year round, whenever we go past there are always lots of people around.

I'm not aware of any other campsites although there is plenty of accommodation of other kinds in that area. There are also other campsites around the Ardales lakes, a very beautiful place to be.

Thanks Megamet, I'll take a look at the Ardarles lakes option too.
