Problem we have found with CAM since they have closed some of their branches is actually trying to pay money in via cash points -they quite often arent working for this function -We got fed up and have moved our account to La caixa - our local branch even has a manager who you can actuually speak to.

Hi Gerard,
Must admit that I have felt slightly anxious regarding my Cam account. Being a non resident makes things a little more complicated. Tell me if you can please, in the event that I make the decision to change Banks will the process be the same as the U.K ? i.e. will the new Bank take care of reorganising all your direct debits such as I.B.I. Electricity payments and Water or would it be down to me to notify the utilities? I note that like myself you have property on Camposol so you are probably aware of Costa Calida Services who I have used in the past to carry out certain activities on my behalf under power of attorney - so I could probably get them to do this on my behalf if need be. Anyway, any info that you could give would be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation, Jim
