Default Calpe and area

Pros and cons of moving to Calpe please, we are now considering moving to CB North instead of back to the UK as we do like it here. I believe it is a bit cooler and greener than here on the CB South.

Greener for sure.

My uncle who lived in Orihuela visited me in Denia about three summers ago and would usually comment that it was a bit cooler and more comfortable. I am not sure you could guarantee that though.

Well, its a busy little place and I enjoy going there from time to time. I would imagine its a lot greener judging what Ive seen from driving through the South. Theres quite a lot of Brits there. Depends if you actually want to be nearer the town or maybe a bit north of the town on the coast road is very nice I always think. So you drive through Calpe and out the other side towards Tuelada

Hi we lived in calpe for 4 years and came back in November. We loved living there but if you need to work there i wouldn't suggest it. There are no jobs whatsoever and as Calpe is like a little community, an outsider would struggle completely to find work. I speak to my friends regularly and people who have lived there for 10 plus years, speak fluent spanish etc etc are really struggling, there are people going back to the UK all the time because of it.
