Hey, i'm an expatriate in Spain and i have family living in UK, France, USA and Asia and i'm looking for a website that enable me to buy prepaid cards online.
So far i've only come across one website : www.justlanded.com according to which the best buy are fortune or supercall card.
I would like to know whether someone has already tested justlanded? and if you have any tips on which card to buy?

I hope your programme isn't as repetitive as your posts!

Personally I avoid phonecards like the plague as, in my experience, they are terribly unreliable and never give the minutes they promise. I would suggest using DialAbroad Spain (http://www.dialabroad.co.uk/spain) which works simply by dialling an access number followed by your international number. It's cheap and the quality is A1.
Cheers,
Carmenes.

It may not be the cheapest way but putting euro coins in the slot helps you keep control of your costs

Presumably, if there are regular phone calls between the same parties who are both having good internet connections, they could download SKYPE and use that service? I am told that the quality of voice conversations can be excellent, particularly if you are both on Broadband, and what's more , it is entirey FREE !

Absolutely right, Nige, I use Skype and Sipgate both for free calls between subscribers and to the PSTN.
The main difference between the two is that with Sipgate you actually get a UK telephone number that people can use to call you whereas with Skype you can only call out.

i have used skype for the last year and like others have said, providing you have good internet connections the connection is normally very good. if you get your friends and family to use skype too not only can you contact them using the computer as a phone but you can also send instant messages. Unfortunately where i am in spain at the moment i have not got broadband or adsl so i am only using the instant message facility. My girlfriend phones her family in peru and she has been buying a card call fantasticard, it costs 5 euros and she get approx 120 mins talk time, this maybe another option if you have not got a good internet connection. this should be available at good phone shops and newsagents
