Exactly that , the same as when you go the US, Canada , Aus or NZ etc if you are carrying a laptop thats used no issue , if you have a new one in the original box then duties due , with regards to car insurance and duties etc you can get cover for any eventuality , you just have to let your insurance company know what you are doing .
There a lot of stupid and bitter scaremongering going on here.

My shock caused by the UK withdrawing the VAT reclaim scheme. I was looking forward to tax free shopping over there. Had they followed the original agreement then any EU visitor to the UK would have been able to reclaim the VAT on goods purchased. Now there is no scheme for anyone visiting the UK, it's a huge blow to the retail sector. However, the refund still works for non EU visitors visting the EU. It would be interesting to see if any UK residents have tried to reclaim VAT on purchases made here. It would certainly make it worthwhile for big ticket items. Tax Free in Spain. Sovereignty is defined as more profiteering, power and privilege to the 0.1%

Buy the 'compatible with' heads, just as good, last as long and cost less that half the price, 16 for £9:99

But that's what the people were promised isn't it?

"Nothing will change"
"We hold all the cards"
"They need us more than we need them"
"Easiest deal in human history"

and all counter argument was labelled 'project fear'.

Now look at the omnishamble which they've only started to scratch the surface of.

Did I miss anything?

You missed out how the UK didnt join the EU vaccine rollout .....much to the benefit of the UK , look at the numbers , I`m in business and know many people in business also , we all use distributors for supply of European products, none of us are having problems , people whining about not being able to get their favourite junk food or getting confused over EU travel need to get a grip and do their homework , the UK is no longer part of the EU and most likely never will be again , things have changed for the better for the UK , the UK is no longer responsible for whats happening in EU countries .

Stop whining about the UK if you chose to live in Spain , you are no longer part of the UK through choice .

I see latest government advice is for companies to move to EU and set up their businesses there if they wish to trade smoothly

They are not being advised to move to the EU , they are being advised to set a company up in the EU , a very different thing , (it takes around 10 minutes and £10.00 to set up a UK limited company ) , it may make things run smoother for some but unnecessary for most , its the same for some companies dealing with any foreign country , EU or anywhere else.
