The EU carried out a survey because of the lack of 500 euro notes in EU member countries.

They found a quarter of all notes in Spain.

The Spanish also found there to be 100 million of them in Spain and thats not 100 million in Euros that`s the quantity 100 million 500 euro notes in circulation a quarter of all 12 countries total is in Spain.

The IMF believes that Spains underground economy accounts for 20% of its gross national product.

Everything in Spain is cash, the company I worked for in Spain didn`t have any means of taking Credit Cards from Clients, and that was an International German Manufacturing and Sales Company.

Yeap, if you can`t beat them join them.

Many are cheating tax.

When the just before the Euro came to Spain, the building industry increased 300%.

All those Paseta`s needed to get lost and you couldn`t suddenly bank it.

Most businesses in Spain don`t give invoices or receipts.:)

How about a senor whippy franchise? (ice cream),looks like a good earner for some one with the money to invest (about £20,000),if business slow you can just drive down to another beach:)

Ice cream in a hot country, you`ll make a killing with that idea.

We were thinking of doin a sex shop on the lines of Ann Summers, more relaxed, the kinda place you`d take the wife.

All the ones in Spain are very hard core and scary.

My wife`s got a few ladies in the school who basically can`t get their Spanish husbands to rise to the occasion on a weekly bases.

She thought it would be a good idea.
