hello,
so ive made the move out here to la linea. husband is working in gib, we live in spain and daughter is in spanish nursery.
her nursery hours are 9-1, and once she goes to school next year they will be 9-2 so im having trouble finding a job that will fit around these.
i have thought of possibly setting up a business website offering my assistance for people moving to la linea, ie- NIE/Padron/Residency/Translating birth and marriage certificates/nursery and school/possibly help with job searching.
(ie- all the things i have had to do the past few weeks)
i know you can do all this yourself but i honestly would have paid for some one to help me.
was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this? i havnt been here long and cant do much market research.
also i have found one company that do this already and they advertise a price of £400 for a days "help" and they pay for lunch........
any advice?

Also, if you have contacts back in the UK who recruit people, maybe you could help anyone in the local area who is looking for work and prepared to move (if such numbers exist)?
I'm based in Madrid, and don't know your area, so I'm afraid I can't think of more ideas.
best of luck!

Are there a lot of Brits moving to La Linea then

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the costs of running a legitimate business in Spain.

Yes there are lots of Brits here. I live in Santa margarita which is a big expat community. I see on lots of forums/fb pages people moving or thinking of moving here. Is it autonomo in Spain? Think i read its 240 euros a month?
