I'm coming out next June for a few months. Havn't decided where to stay yet. Will be looking to rent somewhere when I'm out there where would anyone recomend?

I'm 19 so want somewhere that is liverly at night, nice beaches and some reasonable golf courses!!

Cant comment on the areas I'm afraid too much, but I can tell you that Golf courses will cost you over here. Although they are cheaper down that way, I can pay €70 - 80 for a round up here

Height of season for golf though Mitzy, down here in Malaga area you pay that less you can get a good deal what we do as we play every week. We play El Chaperall a lot as next stores chef was chef there for years and we get it at 50 plus a free buggy.

To the original question you want to be in Benalmadena or Fuengirola for night life and cheap digs to rent etc.

I thought green fees were actually slightly less during the summer months, as fewer people want to play in the heat, although I may be wrong. It still seems very expensive though.

If you want a bit of nightlife, any one of Torremolinos, Benalmadena (nice marina) and Fuengirola should be OK for you. These are all easily accessible from Malaga Airport.

MOre people have suggested Benalmadena so I may check this out first of all.

Do any of you know how easy is it to find a place to rent for a month or two? where is the best place to look when out there? I have about £1400 saved up is this enough for a bit of time out there to get somehwere?

Won't be easy to rent somewhere for two months when you're thinking about coming over in June and the holiday season is kicking off. Monthly rents tend to equate to weekly rents in "summer" and landlords are very wary of renting to you in the summer so want ridiculous deposits just in case you do a runner after a few weeks. You might be able to find a flat share ok though, my girlfriend used to rent in Central Marbella for about 250€ a month all in.
