Hi, what I bemoan so much is, as a proud Brummie, the decline of the City.
50 or 60 ago Birmingham was a vibrant City where you could get any thing made. Cars, buses, anything the world wanted. Over the last fifty years I have watched what left wing politicians, power mad trade union leaders, weak management have done to a great city. We just don’t MAKE anything anymore. As I said before, the BSA is now a bingo hall!!! ‘You want a job as a engineer? Sorry we don’t need those anymore. Got a nice little earner as bingo caller though’ Eyes down everybody. Barry |
