does that make me a troll as well, or - well, just off my head ?? so I could well now be a White Anglo Saxon Protestant, Racist, Homophobe, Troll, know nothing about Telecoms & Technology, and Off My Head. (or was that originally supposed to be Off With His Head :confused: ) God, I must get myself a business card with all that on, will have to add Bottles of Wine finished and Virgins Fixed. Do they do a single Pointy Finger for all that lot or do I have to have one for each :ohmy: but at least I don't post about the Ukraine in a Gibraltar thread :rofl: 'Trolling' is specifically when a poster makes a deliberately divisive, controversial or contentious comment with the sole purpose of stirring or causing upset and the poster who makes it is obviously a 'troll'. Other forms of bullying, arguing swearing, shouting or being stupid or ignorant are not trolling. So in answer to your question, no - you are not a troll. I may disagree with some (by no means all:)) of your posts but I acknowledge that they are sincerely made and not just to be disruptive. |

The words 'trolling' and 'trolls' are much overused.

Which both the the poster in question and myself have both asked you what you meant by this. So would you care to explain why her husband should be disgusted by her posts? |

not much chance of that, only been to Goa and PDT, too scared to make a contribution ?? Or just using PDT as a place to tell everyone how racist they are because people will not give over their country, beliefs and way of life for a foreigner (nor for a Brit that has Gone Native).
:frown: I don't think anyone should ask anyone to give over their country, beliefs and ( generally acceptable) way of life for any others. I presume in Spain you keep to your beliefs and usual way of life? Does that mean you cannot accept differences (or even appreciate them??) I for one respect your knowledge of Spain and would not interfere. Perhaps you could accept that others knowledge of the topics discussed on this part of the forum, might on occasion be more than some others posters. |

No but you do post such statements as like this to a female poster
'oh yes, its a nice place for you to spread your "horror" at the intolerance on ' BES, which we all hope your husband never sees as he would be disgusted.' Which both the the poster in question and myself have both asked you what you meant by this. So would you care to explain why her husband should be disgusted by her posts? Thing is, ---in relatives part of their country they don't generally have carpets too hot:lol: Seriously, my late father in law would curl up laughing at that, but my late mother in law would cry. |
Re: British standards ???
@Bipat

If I were you Me Me I would go back uder the covers, todays world is obviously too stressfull for you to cope with. By the way did you see Newsnight yesterday, a report from west africa where local women are forming groups to resist FGM and seek treatment to repair the damage done to them. They are facing problems with the authorites but their husbands fathers seem to be supporting them. Change can happen !!! I have not been under any covers, I am not posting as much as you as i actually have a life. I notice that you put in a full days shift yesterday, 8.39 am to after 9pm with a couple of hours off for a siesta. Is life so boring in Portugal, is the weather so crap in Portugal that you cant find better things to do. and don't try to make out that i live in fear and cannot cope with the world, because that is rubbish. There may be some snivelling, hand wringing specimens on here , but don't mistake me for one of them. |
Re: British standards ???
I note that yiou chose to ignore or express any suport for the Muslim women in west africa ???

Re: British standards ???
I know it can't possibly be true but I get the impression that some maladjusted people are scouring this particular thread to pounce on some poor poster who has made come innocent remark these monster trawlers don't understand.
We are surely not discussing a topic in a way to appease some weirdos' sense of the ridiculous? We're talking about British standards here, not those of some backward natives in the depths of some third world country. |
