Hi
I am looking for British run hotels in Costa Del Sol, specifically in Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella, Mijas and Benidorm.
Ideally I am looking for a hotel popular with vising Brits, friendly, affordable and be a home away from home for Brits travelling to Costa Del Sol. And of course, serves great British food!
Gracias

I'm not sure such a British home-from-home hotel would last long on the CDS these days. Most tourists now tend to come from Russia, China and Northern Europe. The Brits that do come tend to want self-catering or a more cosmopolitan sort of hotel. After all what's the point of going to a foreign country and recreating what you've got at home? It would be cheaper just to buy a sunbed!

So your not a lazy journo looking to make a documentary on how crap and knackered Spain is and how bad the British run hotels are?

If the UK and a few other N.Eu.countries had the same Sun, there would be standing room only in Torquay and the Costa del Sol would be like a ghost town.
Hope Cman is not following this, I'm sure he'd be absolutely appalled at the very thought, English food and English Hotels indeed !

Much nicer to sit and eat your Roast beef and Yorkshire pud and down a few jars in the Sun.

(My wife is partial to a nice English breakfast so we tried one or two out, couldn't have been more disappointed).
I don't know what that says about the British people who live or vist that area. Well actually I do!
