We like to go to Marbella to walk along the paseo which is much nicer than anywhere else on the CDS, the quality of restaurants is also better (although not as good as in Malaga city). The old town is also pretty nice. I've never seen any stag parties or Z-list celebs, although I wouldnt know who they were The show-offs and Russians tend to hang around Puerto Banus which is actually 7km away, and actually I've never been as its reputation preceeds it. The rest of Marbella just resembles a smallish and nice-ish Spanish town with a lovely paseo |

CM absolutely agree with this. Marbella is very spanish. P. Banus is another (tatty) world. We used to live close to Banus. It was really nice a long time ago. Now it is as CM says even though he has never been:lol:

I thought every bunch of British 20somethings still did their stag/hen in Benidorm... at least, every time I fly in and out of Alicante there seems to be at least one group of matching t-shirts and hangovers.
