I have read your post I will have another look later on return from my daughters,I must say its a very detailed account of your trip ,beautifully wrote I,m sure the weather has picked up considerabley for O/H,s visit.

Lovely to hear about your trip and glad that you enjoyed it so much.

The children's play sounds like fun and the headmaster's concert too. Spending such quality time with 'your young man' certainly sounds a success. It must have been tear jerking for you to leave it all behind again because I know you had a problem leaving in the first place.

A heady mix of experiences in UK which apart from the weather must have made you feel all warm and cosy and loved inside.

Great you are back to your normal life with lovely memories of your visit.

It's a good job I wrote it last night, because I've been without a phone line or Internet all day today

Some poor souls' car caught fire on the nearby motorway (thankfully they weren't hurt).
The fire burnt through the village phone cables................but good old Telefonica fixed it on the SAME DAY!!

Apparently, the fire was so severe that a helicopter was brought in to collect water from a nearby "lake", which it then dumped on the flames!
Never has there been so much excitement in our little village!

Sorry I rambled on a bit about my trip
I am known in all my previous workplaces as the "why write one sentence when a paragraph will do" person!!

Might be online sometime tomorrow.............but am planning to spend most of the day at the swimming pool!!

Oh Sam that pool looks inviting,the surroundings are gorgeous,I can picture myself lounging about in the shade of the tree,s , I wish.
Please don,t apologize for your long post,it was lovely to hear all about your trip here,I hope I do has well on my return from Spain ,mind you I,m hoping to get in an internet cafe or two...........

What a great trip and what an excellent log..why write a line when war and peace will do !!, seriously though you must have experienced every range of emotions both high and low, your boy sounds like a real well rounded lad, you must be chuffed to bits.
Now get some rest and get back on here because there has been some right goings on since you've been away..it's been all the girls playing up without you to control them..us boys have just been beside ourselves with worry, the Mods have hardly been able to keep control....welcome back..
