Bringing our own unit to Spain
Here's hoping that you experienced can give me some advice, I really want to bring my own 3 bed mobile unit across to southern Spain on a residential park pretty close to the coast if possible.
I've really struggled finding parks that would allow me to bring my unit onto a plot.
I might be being naïve but surely there are some parks who would allow this, could any of you give me some advice or pointers as to were to start looking, or am a seeking something that that I just wont find.
Regards Glen

I think caravan parks run by caravans. in the sun allow this but you have to go through them to relocate - their prices are on the web site

Thanks for your response, your right this company do offer relocation on their site and I have contacted them.
This said the tone our conversation led me to believe they were not over keen. Their estimated cost of 9.5K doesn't reall compare to my local quote of 4K door to door. I thinks it a bit steep to pal over 5K to have it sited.
Thanks for the info it's much appreciated

Thanks for this, My wife and I are not over precious about location, its more about quality of life and change of climate. It would be great to be on transport links just so we don't always need the car.
could you give any more details of the locations you quoted?

Hi Glen,
the one in Alhaurin el Grande is about 100m from the main road, and theres a bus stop outside. It takes maybe 20 minutes to Malaga Centre or to Fuengerola. Alhaurin town itself is about 5 minutes away by bus. their website is here : https://malagamonteparc.com/
The one in Torrox Costa is a stones throw from the beach with all its obvious amenities only minutes away in either direction. The website is here : https://www.costadelparadise.com/our...-caravan-park/
Pizarra is ideal if you like to be in the middle of nowhere, Mollina even more so, its over an hour from the coast by car. I dont know anything about either of those ones.
As usual, the same caveat applies - do your own research, this is my opinion.
Regards
James

The one in Mollina has a good ex pat comunity, Bus stop right outside the park. Small but well used market on Wednesday mornings in the grounds of a hotel which is right next to the site, where all the locals meet up. The town is a few mins walk away, with a "British" shop. Antequerra is the nearest large town with all the usual supermarkets Lidl, Mercadona, Carrefore etc. but you will need transport to get there. If you want to be in an ex pat comunity, where you do not need to learn or speak Spanish, it is worth a look.
